Legacy Domination began in 2023 as Legacy Cards — a limited collectible series capturing history's defining moments. This is how a collection became a battle for civilization.
The Founders Edition (2023)
In 2023, Legacy Cards launched with a simple but ambitious idea: trading cards that weren't about sports stars or fantasy characters — they were about us. Each card captured a defining moment from human history, from groundbreaking discoveries to transformative events, alongside bold predictions of what the future might hold. The tagline said it all: Relive. Dream. Collect.
The Founders Edition — the first and only print run — featured 100 unique moments, released in strictly limited quantities. It was collectible only: no gameplay, no mechanics. Just history in your hands. Collectors could even propose and vote on which moments would join the series next, shaping the legacy for future generations.
When the final packs sold, that was it. First Edition. Founders only. Once they were gone, they were gone.
From Collection to Domination
The cards asked a question their collectors couldn't stop answering: if these are the moments that shaped civilization — what would you have done? That question became a game. The moments became weapons, builders, and wild cards. History's turning points became mechanics: rise, expand, defend, dominate. Legacy Cards evolved into Legacy Domination — a trading card game where players don't just collect civilization's story. They fight for it.

How the Cards Are Made
Legacy Domination is a one-person indie project, and I believe in being transparent about how it's built.
Made by hand:
- Every historical moment on every card is personally researched, curated, and written by me — the events, the facts, the stories.
- The game system, card layouts, graphic design, and visual identity are my own design work.
- The companion app is designed and built by me.
Made with AI:
- The card illustrations are AI-generated. Some are grounded in real archival and historical references; others are creative interpretations of the moments they depict.
- As a solo founder, commissioning hundreds of original historical artworks isn't feasible at this stage — AI illustration is what makes a project of this scope possible for one person.
Looking ahead:
- Commissioned artwork by human artists for premium and promo cards is on the roadmap as the game grows.
