Founded
Legacy Domination is a phygital trading card game that replaces fantasy with real human history. Physical cards pair with a free Companion App that handles all the scoring and game logic, for a fast, deeply strategic game with no tokens and no manual math.
Why it's different
Phygital by design
Physical cards plus a free Companion App. No tokens, no manual math.
Real history, not fantasy
Photorealistic cinematic art of real historical events.
Rarity isn't power
Common, Rare and Legendary tiers mark scarcity only, with no effect on gameplay strength.
Players build civilizations across four dials: Culture, Diplomacy, Economy and Technology. Each turn, draw and play a Builder to grow your empire, an Attack card to sabotage rivals, or a Wild Card, an unpredictable historical event. The free Companion App, required to play, tracks scores, the market and random anomalies.
Three ways to win
Quick Win (Tall Victory)
Reach 40 on one dial.
Total Mastery (Wide Victory)
Reach 20 or more on all four dials.
Era Collapse (Score Victory)
Have the highest total score when the decks run out, or after 40 total turns.
Key rules
- Every card carries a value from 0 to 5 for each of the four dials, and you choose which one dial to boost when you play it.
- Card types: Builders add points to your own dial then trigger a category bonus; Attack cards subtract from an opponent's dial; Wild Cards add points and let you choose Option A (the category power) or Option B (Chaos).
- A turn is: turn-start passives and prompts, draw 1 card, play exactly 1 card, an optional Market purchase, then end turn.
- Hand limit: 7 cards. Draw effects can take you above it, and you discard down to 7 at the end of your turn. The first player is dealt 8 and skips their first draw.
- A deck is exactly 40 cards, with no more than one copy of any specific card — the Rule of One.
- The App Market: spend dial points on permanent upgrades. Any number of players may own the same Market item.
- Blocking: discard one card from your hand that boosts the attacked dial with equal or higher power. A Wild Card can block any attack. The discarded card is gone for the rest of the match.
- Iron Dome (an 8 Technology Market upgrade): when attacked, roll a d6 — on 3–6 the whole attack is blocked and it costs you nothing.
- Chaos Pool: playing a Wild Card with Option B, or The Unexplained's category power, triggers a random historical anomaly.
- Milestones: Culture, Diplomacy, Economy or Technology at 20 each grant that era's bonus, and 60 total points grants +1 to all four dials every turn. A dial that drops below its threshold loses the era.
The cards
Every card captures a defining moment in history with photorealistic cinematic art, a card number, the year and its category, from Cinema & Media to Science & Engineering, Creative Arts and Law & Governance. Rarity tiers (Common, Rare, Legendary) mark scarcity, never power.

Our story
Founded in 2023 by Dan Rimon, Legacy began as Legacy Cards, a limited Founders Edition of 100 unique historical moments. A one-person indie studio, Dan personally researches and writes every historical entry, drawing on his background in cognitive psychology. The collectible series grew into Legacy Domination, turning history's turning points into gameplay. Relive. Dream. Collect.

For TCG players
A real TCG, minus the math.
Legacy Domination plays like a competitive trading card game: manage your hand, read your opponent, time your strikes. Every score, market move and random anomaly is handled by a free Companion App. No counters, no tokens, no arguments. Three ways to win, 20–40 minute matches, and rarity that never decides the game.
For TCG collectors
Rarity that means scarcity, not power.
Common, Rare and Legendary tiers exist for collectors, not for winning, so chasing a Legendary is about owning a piece of history, not buying an edge. Every card carries photorealistic cinematic art of a defining moment, with its number and year. Booster Packs keep the collection growing.
For non-sport collectors
History you can hold.
Before it was a game, Legacy began in 2023 as Legacy Cards, a limited Founders Edition of 100 unique historical moments. That first print run lives on as the Legacy Founders Edition: collectible only, with no gameplay mechanics.
For history lovers
Real history, not fantasy.
Every card is a real turning point, researched and written by the founder himself. Players build civilizations across Culture, Diplomacy, Economy and Technology, and discover how a single moment can tip the balance of an age.
For parents and educators
Learning that doesn't feel like homework.
Ages 13+, 2–4 players, 20–40 minutes. Legacy Domination turns real historical events into strategy: players weigh culture against economy, and diplomacy against technology. The free Companion App does the scoring, with no ads and no in-app purchases, so the table stays focused on thinking, talking and history.
For strategy and tabletop gamers
Four dials. Three ways to win.
Quick Win by reaching 40 on one dial, Total Mastery by balancing all four at 20 or more, or Era Collapse by holding the highest total when the decks run out. Builders grow your empire, Attack cards sabotage rivals and Wild events upend the table. Real decisions every turn, and an app that keeps score so you don't have to.
For gift buyers
For the history buff who has everything.
The Core Starter Box has everything two players need, and the free Companion App gets them playing in minutes. Booster Packs make easy add-on gifts. Available now on Amazon with worldwide shipping.
For retailers
One product, four audiences.
Legacy Domination sells to TCG players, collectors, history fans and parents at once, which makes it a natural fit for game stores, bookstores and museum shops. The Companion App is free, with no subscriptions. Wholesale pricing on request.
